Research Overview

My current research topics are the synthesis and characterization of novel molecular sieves. I use most of known techniques (conventional solvothermal synthesis, post-synthesis, topotatic transition, etc.) to develop new protocols for new microporous materials syntheses based on inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, phase transformation and self-assembly. Methanol-to-Olefin (MTO) reaction engineering is another field of research on which I am currently working. I evaluate the catalytic performances of zeolites I have invented. Also, before moving to here Caltech, I had been involved in multiple research projects about chemical wet-processes for carbon nanomaterials and porous materials productions.
